What a client portal is
A client portal is a private page where each customer can see where their job stands, approve a quote, pay an invoice and find their files. It cuts the calls that begin with asking for an update, and it gives customers one place to look instead of searching their email.
Customers check status, approve and pay.
What you get
ReplacesThe calls asking for an update, the quote lost in an inbox and the invoice nobody can find.
- A private login for each customer
- Job status that updates as your team works
- Quotes and change orders approved online
- Invoices paid online, if you take payments
- Photos, contracts and messages saved on the job
- Your logo and your colors

Email, a ready-made portal or your own?
Email works until the thread gets long and the quote gets lost in it. A ready-made portal is quick to start, but it carries someone else's name and steps, usually for a monthly fee. A portal of your own takes a build and a monthly price, and it carries your name and works the way you do.
Is a client portal right for your business?
It fits when jobs run for days or weeks and customers keep asking where things stand. For same-day jobs, it may be more than you need.

Questions owners ask
Do my customers need to download an app?
No. It opens in the browser on any phone or computer. They can add it to their home screen if they like.
Can it take payments?
Yes, through a payment account in your business's name, such as Stripe. The money goes straight to you.
Can customers see each other's jobs?
No. Each customer sees only their own jobs and files. Logins, access and backups are part of the build and listed in the scope.
What does a client portal cost?
Every build is priced on a free 15 to 30 minute call, after we see what it needs to do and connect to. You get one flat price in writing before any work starts, and you own what we build.
How do customers sign in?
Usually with an emailed link or a simple login, whichever suits your customers. We set it up in the scope and test it with you. Customers open it in a browser on any phone or computer.
Can my team update status from a phone?
Yes. The people doing the work can mark a step done where they are, and the customer sees the change. You choose who can change what, so status is not edited by accident.
How long does a portal take to build?
A simple portal takes a day or two to a week or two. A bigger one, such as a portal with payments and several job types, takes longer. The dates go in your PDF plan and the price is agreed in writing before work starts.
Can a portal work for a therapy or health practice?
We would be careful. Health records and client messages carry extra rules, so we scope that kind of portal case by case and keep it to what you can share safely. Tell us your practice type on the free call.
Give customers the answer before they call.
We look at what customers ask you most, then put the portal and the price in writing.
