What a small business dashboard is

A small business dashboard is one screen that shows the few numbers you run the business on: leads and their sources, how fast you replied, what got booked and what got paid. It reads from the tools you already use, so you stop building the Monday report by hand.

Your numbers on one screen.

A good dashboard starts with questions you ask every week. Where did this week's leads come from? Who is going quiet? What is due today? We build the screen around those, not around every chart a tool can draw.

It is made to read on your phone in a minute, between jobs. Each number comes from a real record you can open, so when something looks off you can click through and see why. Fewer numbers, checked, beat a wall of charts.

What you get

ReplacesThe Monday report someone builds by hand, and five logins to see one week.

  • One screen for the numbers you run on
  • Leads by source: Google, Meta, referrals, your website
  • Reply speed and missed calls
  • Booked, done and paid, by week or month
  • What is due today and who is going quiet
  • Read from your CRM, calendar, payments and ads
  • Made to read on your phone

How it works

From the free call to live and looked after every month. Flat price in writing before any work starts.

  1. Day 1

Free 15 to 30 minute call

Tell us the numbers you check today and where each one lives. We look for the three or four that change your decisions and leave the rest out.

  2. Next

    Connect your sources

We link your CRM, calendar, payments, phone line or ad accounts, whichever hold your numbers. If a source cannot connect, we tell you now, not at launch.

  3. Go live

    First screen goes live

The first version goes live on the date in your plan. We compare its first numbers with ones you already trust, so you are not guessing whether the screen is right.

  4. After launch

    Tune what you look at

After a few weeks you will know which numbers you actually open. We trim the rest and add what is missing. Updates are covered by the monthly price.

Spreadsheet, report tool or a custom dashboard?

A spreadsheet is flexible and free, but someone has to update it. A ready-made report tool connects to many sources, but you build and keep up the views yourself. A custom dashboard is built around the questions you ask each week and stays current on its own, for a build and a monthly price.

Is a dashboard right for your business?

It fits when you make real decisions from numbers, such as where to spend on ads or who to follow up with, but gathering those numbers takes too long. If you run on gut feel and a handful of jobs, start with a CRM or tracking first.

Signs it fits

  • You log into several tools to answer one question.
  • Someone builds a weekly report by hand.
  • You are not sure which lead source pays off.
  • You find out about slow follow-up weeks later.
  • You want to check the business from your phone.

How it is priced

Every project is priced on a free 15 to 30 minute call, once we know what you need. You get one flat price in writing before any work starts.

Questions owners ask

Where does the data come from?

From the tools you already use: your CRM, calendar, payments, phone line and ad accounts. We connect what you have and show it in one place.

Do I need a CRM first?

No. If your numbers live in spreadsheets and other tools, we read from those. Many owners start with a CRM and a dashboard together.

How current are the numbers?

Current when you open it. How often each number refreshes depends on the tool it comes from, and we list that in the scope.

What does a dashboard cost?

Every build is priced on a free 15 to 30 minute call, after we see what it needs to do and connect to. You get one flat price in writing before any work starts, and you own what we build.

Does it work with QuickBooks?

Often, yes, for invoices and payments, depending on your QuickBooks plan and what you want to see. We check your exact setup on the free call and tell you plainly if a number cannot be pulled in.

Who can see the dashboard?

Only people you give a login. Access can be set by role, so an owner sees revenue while a crew lead sees only today's jobs. The roles are listed in the written scope before we build.

How do I know the numbers are right?

Before launch we compare the first numbers with ones you already trust, like last month's bookings. Each figure traces back to a record you can open. If something looks wrong, you can see where it came from.

How long does it take to build?

Small jobs take a day or two, bigger ones a week or two. How long depends on how many tools we connect, and the dates go in the written scope. You can add more sources after launch.
